An Open Letter to everyone living in this world:
Everyone knows the world ain't all sunshine and rainbows, but after watching this worrying video, I worry that the opposite of a phrase I once read in a history textbook "Never again to Fascism", is actually coming true.
I worry for this world and Singapore, should another great war like those of World War II and World War I happens again. Over 60 million people (roughly) died in World War II, and we avoided Mutually Assured Destruction during the Cold War such as the Cuban Missle Crisis.
I cannot imagine what will happen if World War III was to erupt, given the situation in the South China Sea, the Middle East, the rise of terrorism, and the unfinished business of the Korean War, which if I remember correctly, is also known as "The Forgotten War".
I only wish for world peace, or at least for the world to maintain its status quo.
