Basically on 11/5/2016, I had to wear this gear suit which was strapped around most of my entire body, making my shoulders, upper back, leg ankles feel heavy, then it was so heavy until I struggled to climb around 6 steps staircase.

Then, we also had the sight activity that had different glasses to imitate various eye sicknesses, but the two glasses that leave an impression on me was tunnel vision and colour blindness.

[Plea for help] An Open Letter to all Singaporeans.

Dear Mr/Ms (who is reading this letter)

I don't know how long I will live because of my extreme sedentary lifestyle(spending up to 14 hours a day on the computer since Primary 3), but as a teenager at the time of writing, I am worried about the future of Singapore. I don't know if I will live to see SG 100, but I really hope Singapore gets to see SG100.

I have heard rumours of a brain drain, whereby Singaporeans who are capable of migrating overseas are migrating overseas in the numbers. This may also be the reason why there might be a strong possibility that around 40% of all Singaporeans may not be born in Singapore in the future.
I would like to strongly reiterate/emphasize here that we should embrace this racial diversity, but I just find it sad that if such rumours are true. Then, there's nothing much we can do about it, because its their choice. I just find it sad that so few people like Singapore, but I can understand why they don't like it, because its a highly fast paced, stressful and competitive place to live in. Moreover, it feels like we live in a culture of fear, fear that if you do the wrong thing, you'll get into trouble.
It feels that once you slow down, you won't be able to catch up....

We, as one people, one country are in a very problematic situation, because on one hand, we need to make sure we continue to stay relevant in order to maintain our independence, but this means we suffer in terms of our own happiness, as shown in why Singapore is one of the most unhappiest places to live in, and our probably rising mental illness cases..

What I'm hoping for is we slow ourselves down slightly, to make us as a population happier, but enough to stay relevant so we can keep our independence....

I speculate/expect that if we cannot maintain our relevance, we may potentially fall under the influence of China, considering majority of our population are Chinese, the worst case scenario, being a satellite state of China.

Its also sad that few people are willing to enter politics, because we really need another man similar to LKY to guide us towards a possible SG100.....

Most of the time (85%), I'm so afraid to express my opinions openly because of how limited our freedom of speech is, but I don't know, I just hope nothing goes wrong with this post.

I sincerely apologise if anyone feels offended reading this post.

Moral: Sometimes we need to think of countless explanations/views to something we might find odd/scary/mysterious in real life, rather than just think of the most common views and then just conclude its scary/supernatural.

Panic Attacks eg. Biz Statistics Final Exam, describe how I actually all the while A, but final exam because of the time limit and etc, crumbled under pressure and got over around 60-80 marks wrong.
Ears getting hot, mind getting hot, cannot think properly.

- I have been bullied from primary - secondary school, and am still facing problems socializing and talking to others to this day.

- I have an extremely low self esteem/confidence, and I tend to feel tired very easily nowadays

- I tend to get extremely anxious around people, with sweaty palms, feet and so on.

- Recently, because of the stress of me being in the final year of my polytechnic studies, I seem to have a much shorter and worse temper.

- I feel depressed around 85% of the time

-I have difficulties concentrating on work at home, but not at school.

29/4/2016: I turn off the alarm, but my mind keep hearing things all the time (not just this specific example) eg. my mind keep "hearing" the alarm go off, my mind keep "hearing" people call my name, especially my mother, and hearing other things. > extreme fear of doing the wrong thing> was brought up and exposed to this perfectionist attitude.

28/5/2016: I lied down in bed, but my head couldn't stop turning left and right, a situation where I experienced before 2014-15 when I was stressed again.

I'm so glad about the growth of CSGO and the overall esports scene.

This post is specifically talking about the potential of mixed teams, this video you see here is actually a player from Spain who signed to a North American team, so can you imagine the possible teamwork,culture, language difficulties initially?



If my memory serves me correct, one of the first few notable mixed nationality/languages team in CSGO, a game where communication is so vital, was ex-Kinguin, who is now known as Faze.



Anyways, to sum up my thoughts, what I'm trying to say is, maybe NA Teams can consider bringing in more European talent to bolster up their rosters, considering the number of Tier2-3 EU teams who are just hungry for sponsorships, and the most of the time, obvious difference in skill that Europeans are better than North Americans, which is also the majority consensus/agreement in the CSGO community.

I feel that this might help the overall scene get better, because lets say more NA organisations pick up European Tier 2-3 teams, NA will get more competitive, which will force the existing NA players to strive to improve and get better with their comms, strats and etc.
The game will also benefit from having a more vibrant Tier 2-3 scene. (more matches being streamed all the time, resulting in maybe more viewers because of an almost 24 hours schedule of watching matches, etc.)

(WIP) [Serious] Good day yesterday

*Work in Progress, this might be my first "real/proper" blog post with pictures

Yesterday I was lucky to work under a good manager at my part time job, he was so friendly, and I would really like to work under him again.
I also found it amusing that I was tasked to go to Tampines just to collect one single item to help them with their transfer of inventory.
So in a nutshell, it was a good day of work for me because it was rather easy going and smooth, despite serving only a few customers, and I gained more experience as a retail assistant.

After my shift, I went to kill time at the arcade while waiting for the buyer I was meeting later at around 8.15 - 8.30 pm, before that I ate these to satisfy my physiological need of hunger : :p

Despite their DansGame expensive price, both of them tasted really really well: 

the Takoyaki Texture was "q" and the sweet creamy sauces were oozing out as I bit into them occasionally.

The Croquette was crisp, and the Shrimp and Crab Cream were also oozing out as I bit into them occasionally. (lazy describe more, just go try them before the Japan (primarily food) fair at Tampines Mall ends at 19 April, not that anyone will read this before then 4Head /s , being slightly self-loathing here :v)

It was a fun time because I had fun playing Project Diva and rediscovered the "Snow White Princess" song I was looking for so long in vain <3 , and (insert Wangan here)

Afterwards, I met the buyer around 8:45pm for the Mighty Beans I was selling on GumTree and 

Ayy, I think it was a good deal for both of us: 

I sold him like around 5-6 beans, one being the Pharoh Bean which glows in the dark, for 

4 dollars and one of his Bakugan (a new series, real one) which I didn't have

(around 7 dollars worth for both of our values traded to each other, involving money and barter trade, swapping his Bakugan for my glow in the dark Mighty Bean)

Furthermore, he's going to buy more from me in the future 😄, he today just see the goods only and buy a few because he not enough money 😂

TLDR: It was good day, had smooth work shift, fun playing arcade & settled a business deal for my old childhood toys.

Clocked in at 12:05, clocked out at 16:15, despite being late by 5 minutes, I feel good about myself because I helped them to solve their product replenishment/restocking problem, making sure that the customers get to see a variety and choice in terms of products offered by removing the excessive duplicates. eg remove 16 GB to restock 32 GB Thumdrive.

Too bad, this won't be rewarded in any way much though (compliment/bonus, etc.) considering its just a part time job, but I did feel good that I was able to think on the go/fly.

(WIP) [Serious] My idea behind why I had a rather happy day today.

I'm tired and I want to go to sleep soon, so this will be a work in progress.

My day started off bad because my mum was expecting some rather unpleasant news, regarding a health report from a scan she did earlier, and being her son I was quite worried for her.

However, I had work to do and I still needed to report to my part time job, so I did just that.

But, I decided to watch some Hatsune Miku Music Videos on the way to work (a source of great happiness, joy and relief for me, since she is my waifu/imaginary lover), and I felt I contributed at work, and had a rather okay/decent performance, despite the sadness I found myself in before going to work (and here is where the Chinese phrase of "Work is work, and personal life is personal life" comes in)

Thus, my theory/idea behind changing a day into a happy day is, you got to have a balance or combination of doing something you like (for me it was watching the music videos) and doing something that makes you and another person happy (in this eg, me feeling that I did a good job at work and maybe the company that hired me feeling that I contributed to the company).

I guess
this epsiode shows us what it means to have personal space between lovers.

Also, the
plot is spicing up, and you have to wonder about that pendent/lock and the 3
keys again.

What a fitting thing it was in the end for them to be Romeo and Juliet.

Moral of
the story: Be true to those you really love and show concern about, don't hide
your true feelings and words, no matter how awkward it may be, don't let it be
a regret, because it doesn't work as well as Tsunderes may behave in anime.

Hey, I thought I would do a little recommendation on a new food chain in town, Stuff'd

Their Quesidllia and Burrito are nice, based on the 2 times I had them, and apparently they're Mexican and Turkish Cuisine.

Their servings are also very generous.

WHY CSGO IS ONE OF BESTEST E SPORTS.

9AM: I woke up groggy only to be partially shaken out of it by this news that a Tier 2-3 NORTH AMERICAN TEAM WON A BEST OF THREE AGAINST A TOP 10 EUROPEAN TEAM IN CSGO.

Bear in Mind Envy has won at least 2 Majors, when they were LDLC, after that infamous Olofpass boost (Dreamhack Winter 2014) and Dreamhack Cluj Napoca 2015.

This is why CSGO is better than LeL (League of Legends) or Doto 2, because there's a higher chance of the underdog winning against a strong team, its always nice to see underdogs perform every now and then.

Moreover, CSGO is more viewer friendly than LeL 4Head, because its simple, either kill all 5 enemies, plant and detonate the bomb as a Terrorist, or prevent the bomb from being planted or defuse the bomb as a Counter Terrorist.

In Doto 2 and LeL, these MOBAs have a lot of things going on in the middle, and it makes it hard for you to appreciate what is going on unless you play the game yourself, although one of the overall objectives is to destroy the other enemy's base. (called the Ancient in Doto 2)

In CS, you win a 1vs(3-5), its like you relying on yr own effort and skill,experience in order to win a round that seemed to be lost because of your team's earlier failures.

I am damn sure you think I am being biased right now and I'm going to proudly say yes I am biased but so what? Most people are biased in one way or another, we are only human after all.

[Serious] Anime Review: Watamote (No matter how much I look at it, its you guys fault that I'm not popular!) [WIP]

Oh man oh man, where should I start...

Firstly, I actually started Watamote back in October 10th, 2015, however it was too cringeworthy for me to finish watching it back then BUT I AM SO DARN GLAD I decided to finish watching it at one go today.

This is one of those instances where you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, a trap which I am guilty of falling into since I dropped it back in October 10th. Some examples are as follows:

1. At first, the first few episodes are cringeworthy and awkward, even I myself as a former shut-in found them cringey (awkward) and felt like I couldn't watch anymore, but as the series progresses, you get to see the resilient side of Tomoko, the main character as she persists on with the struggles of her extremely poor interpersonal skills, and I thought I was bad enough until I saw her.
(On a scale of 0-10, 0 being the person with the worst interpersonal skills, Tomoko would be a zero, and I would be around a 4)

I especially admire her dedication to get better eventually and improve her popularity in high school, I feel its a very commendable trait she has, and it falls in line with my own belief of self improvement/kaizen/ 改善.

2. She looks ugly, unlike the typical anime girl (which is a good or unique, differentiating itself from other anime, change) and acts like a horrible person for the most part, but I feel that towards the end, she starts to act pretty nice to people who have showed concern to her.

Conclusion:
Definitely worth a 9 or even 10 out of 10, despite it only being 12 episodes, the story I felt was pretty condensed and well paced, and there's potential for a Season 2, but I think this is may very well be the first anime that got me interested in reading the manga for it, because I really really pity Tomoko and if she was real (or anyone I know of is similar to her), I would gladly show concern to them, and try my utmost best to help them get out of their confidence trap. (akin to the poverty trap concept in Economics)

As of writing, the rating is 7.33 on MyAnimeList, which makes me feel this is a severely underrated anime. わたもてとてもかなしいです！！ T^T

[Serious] Life Lessons I've Learnt so Far [WIP]

From anime experiences:

1. Be more positive/optimistic in your thinking (Setokai no Ichizon)
2. You don't need friends to confirm their relationship with you as a friend (Haganai/Boku wa Tomodachi)
3. Some friends are only friends with you in that particular period/stage of your life, its normal for them to drift away if you don't continue to make the effort to maintain your relationship with them. (mix of both real life, reddit, and anime)
4. Things you should never do when socialising (Watamote: Tomoko ;~; )
5. Be true to those you really love and show concern about, don't hide your true feelings and words, no matter how awkward it may be, don't let it be a regret, because it doesn't work as well as Tsunderes may behave in anime. (Nisekoi)
6. I guess one moral is that each person have their attractive traits and horrible weaknesses.

From real life experiences:
1. Its always better to be safe than sorry.
2. Being prepared is better than last minute work due to procrastination.
3. If its there, use/abuse it. Don't let it go to waste.
4. Don't care so much about what others think, just know where you went wrong, and move on, don't cry over spilt milk.
5. NO ONE IS PERFECT, seek a balance in what you do.
6.Don't be over-demanding/attention seeking, but be very firm in requests.
7. Compliment people, but don't overdo it. (Balance)
8. Always be willing to try out new things. (See Nisekoi Season 2 Episode 9)
9. DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE DIFFERENT (think back on mouz vs NiP B03 match for MLG Columbus 2016)
10. People won't reply you always on WhatsApp, because they are busy, unsure how to reply, insensitive, etc. (see who is more worthy of your time and respect, and act accordingly)
