^ this blog posts relates heavily to this great preview before any major tournament HLTV puts out.

"However, up until the semifinal where his old unsure self
reemerged, Hoag continued to live up to his new-found moniker of
"GODren" and threw a wrench in the Liquid organisation's plans for
roster development."
4Head, it seems like I need to do that CSGO blog post on how Twitch chat comments on a CSGO player's performance, because the way of naming "GODren" was also how I would have commentated for hilarious effect. eg. Godlen (Fallen) Godzera (coldzera) GOD RIGHT (GeT_RiGhT), etc.
"Whether that slump come from Dutchman Chris
"chrisJ" de Jong(who was admittedly in-form at the Major) or from
DeutschländerJohannes "nex" Maget (who seems to at-times struggle in
the big offline games) is uncertain, but it often appears as if the German
machine is not so well-oiled and incongruous, a marked contrast to the home
country's industrial sector."
I totally agree, chrisJ seemed to be in form up until the NiP vs mouz game, where GOD THREAT had an insane performance despite ONLY PLAYING 8 HOURS OF CSGO WITH THE TEAM.
Why? : There should be no way THREAT should have been higher than f0rest (who should be the 2nd best player on NiP)
That sick reference to Germany's industrial sector though! PogChamp
"starix will have to contain the Na`Vi salt factory from
inside the server"
"However, if Ischuk can keep former leader Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko from blowing his lid during the team's in-game communications and develop proper tactical approaches to both of these aforementioned teams, Na`Vi should still take the top spot in their group."

MingLee, I commented previously that I felt and I kind of remembered correctly that Na Vi was a toxic team, this is why the first emoticon that came to my mind was MingLee.
However, I also remember that a few of the CS community also said that starix was a smart player, in the sense that he knows what to do, a trait which sometimes I feel can give you the advantage/edge against a player who has much better skill.
" As for the opening game against Swedish GODSENT, barring a
masterfully engineered anti-strat game by brainiac Markus "pronax"
Wallsten, Na`Vi should flatten the hometown Swedes."
4Head, VAC Ban meme reference there. (witch hunters being community members who suspect and want to prove certain pro players that are cheating)
Underdog Teams to look out for: Tyloo (Clear Top 1-3 Team in China) GODSENT (pronax being the brilliant in game leader behind the dominant fnatic team)
I'm really interested to see what pronax, the brain child behind the dominant fnatic team before the added dennis, which made them into a more aim/skill-reliant lineup can do though.

SeemsGood Agreed.
"We were all witness to a raw and touching video released by the organisation afterwards that showed the Astralis players quite distressed after their semifinals loss at the Columbus Major to Natus Vincere, which must have been all the more bitter as the Danes had magically trounced the world's best team fnatic in the quarter-finals the day beforehand."
BibleThump, indeed, I myself though Chokestralis were no more after beating FUCKING FNATIC, THE TOP 1 TEAM IN THE WORLD, ASTRALIS ALSO AMAZED ME WITH THEIR INSANE SMOKE EXECUTES AGAINST NA VI ON INFERNO (a reminder of the CS 1.6 WeMadeFox Korean style), WHICH WAS A CLOSE GAME IN ITS OWN RIGHT. (16-14 or 13!!!! out of a possible 30 rounds in a normal regulation time, ie no overtime)
"After yet another group stage exit at a Major under the
auspices of Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans, internal factions within the
team cried "Ça suffit!" and took down the Belgian leader and brought
in Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro of LDLC White."
BibleThump, Ex6tenz, one of the most tactical minds in the game doesn't deserve this ;~;
I've been following them since they were Titan at EMS One Katowice 2014, and I agree with a majority of the community that SmithZ should have been the one who got cut, because he's so fucking inconsistent. Read reddit for more opinions yourself to think for yourself though, because again, this blog post is from me.
"If they should lose out in groups again, perhaps the curse
of Droolans will be shown to live on in this lineup."

"Both Mathias "pauf" Köhler and Andreas
"znajder" Lindberg (the latter once mythically known as 'schneider'
and apparently a Major winner, so the tales say) have been key drive-shafts in
this team's firepower. Seeing as how this team also features a multi-Major champion
and mastermind in Wallsten, a "Talent to watch for this year" for
multiple years in a row in Simon "twist" Eliasson, and a raw and
unproven player in Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson, GODSENT could do some
damage in Group B rather unexpectedly."
